People and property guarding

When talking about security in our company conception (system), we have to say one important thing at the very beginning. The key aspect of this service is psychologically – preventive activity. What does that mean? We are not a special strike team, we no not behave like one and the legislature does not even create adequate legal environment for us to do so. Our aim is thus elimination of risks which ordinary buildings (administration buildings, shopping centres, manufacturing areas, construction sites, etc) face at the moment before the actual criminal act is committed. This means we try to make a potential trespasser feel that trying to commit any crime against our customer’s property is too risky, i.e. “discourage“ him/her in a positive sense, so that he/she refrains from such thoughts before these can be put into practice.

Building security service is carried out according to customer’s needs and wishes. It is performed by qualified and well-trained employees of our company. Standard equipment of a security guard includes: a uniform, a belt, self-defensive spray, handcuffs, a halogen torch, a mobile phone and eventually also an electronic data downloader and a walkie-talkie based on the size of the building. There are five key security aspects which include:

System of patrols – building inspections

Psychological barriers in the building (marking of the building, lighting, fences, psychological barriers)
Registration activity (we create “evidence“ for the case of damage, loss or harm to customer’s property)
Responsibility (begins with the first security worker and ends by legal security of our company – 3 types of liability insurance)
Communication with a customer (the better the communication with a customer, the better development quality and added value of services)
We will go into more detail only with some of the abovementioned aspects due to keeping our methodics and system of performance of these services secret.

Patrols

Patrols represent the basic inspectional activity in any building and their setting has fundamental influence on the abovementioned psychologically–preventive effect. A patrol can be set by description (e.g. a building plan), or electronically (electronic patrol system). Verification of following of the set system is equally important for both procedures and that mainly in the long-term horizon, when subjective ties arise in every person, i.e. he/she pays less attention to many circumstances than necessary and such approach cannot be assessed as completely responsible, as required for security service. The patrols must thus be continually “enlivened“ with various techniques.

Registration activity

Here it is important to pay attention to several seemingly obvious things which, however, are those which fail most frequently. These include checking people and keeping evidence of them with the help of lists of employees, permanent suppliers, external collaborators, brigade-workers, etc., entrance/exit of vehicles (permanent and single entrance permission), feedback – verification in case of visits, keys, messages and other.

Responsibility

Our company has signed three kinds of liability insurance policies:
Liability for damage caused to a third party
Additional insurance of accepted things against theft, misappropriation
Insurance of liability for transportation of valuables
Communication with customers
• Regular meetings between responsible representatives of the supplier and the client.
• Monthly reports (changes in staff for the contract, outputs from electronic patrol system, discovered faults, suggestions for improvement, other measures).
• Feedback from a customer dealing with loggie and balconies in block of flats.
